Best to have 6 shares pass you over than cost you $5 for $1.50 worth of stock.

It will take $1.90 to make those 6 in the green to cash out even.

It's probably someone selling on the Ask trying to piss you off to slap for a few $100 bucks.
Don't fall for it. Trump him in the Ask and take his sell. Then add those funds to your BID orders.
