It's the mark of an inadequate personality and a very small brain to be unable to admit that a previous belief may have been mistaken when subsequent events invalidate that prior conviction.
It can also be very costly in both money and relationship terms, as demonstrated by the pocket books and strained family gatherings of those stupid enough to continue to believe in this vehicle for personal enrichment of Ehrlich, his toxic finance buddies and his off-shore Israeli pals.
