Greg Halpern inserted a poison pill into the MAXD contract with Connie Nash without her knowledge. Then he used that clause as an excuse not to pay her the next contracted $200k installment. That soured the relationship and resulted in the battle behind the scenes between Connie and MAXD, which ultimately damaged both the Nash brand and the MAXD shareholders. That also resulted in Connie approaching MD1941 about money she needed, which started that sordid chapter in the book.

On the flip side, Greg Halpern has an eight-million-dollar judgement against him for fraud from his days at Z-Trim. A million-dollar judgment against him from Google for using the Nash technology to sue them. A judgment against him from the Vechery Family Trust for all around villainy. He’s been adjudged by Judge Timothy Taylor as “defrauding and looting the MAXD shareholders.” He admitted to intentionally placing the company on the Expert Market. He developed one scam after another to defraud the shareholders, not one of them creating profit or revenue. He registered several websites where he defamed his angel investor and anyone else not on his team. For that reason alone, why would anyone want to help him? He has proven to be a man with no integrity, morals, or values. And now I’m reading implications that Connie should help Greg Halpern resurrect his career and rehabilitate his image.

Why would Connie Nash want to help the man who she claims forged her signature, sued Google, and destroyed her company? The man she claims aided and abetted in stealing her MAXD stock. As a former Hollywood screenwriter, surely, she must remember all the movies referencing “strange bedfellows” and “honor among thieves.” It’s a common phrase to say, “even criminals are known to have a code of conduct,” but why would Connie Nash jeopardize her self-described reputation in the technology industry to help an immoral man discover morality in the business world? Why would she waste her remaining golden years connecting her personal standing with his? He has been removed as the CEO by the court and has been prevented from direct involvement with MAXD for five years. He does not own the MAXD assets. He is posting about non-existent meetings and deals between himself and Harvey Vechery. He is attempting to extort money from Harvey Vechery. His reputation speaks for itself. He has preferred shares in what is currently a worthless company. He has no money. The question I’m left wondering is what does Greg Halpern have to offer Connie Nash?
