It was a little more than fusions. Arthritis and Spondylosis filled up the canal where my spinal cord was running and compressed my spinal cord to a serious degree.
The compression caused so many problems I couldn't begin to list because many involuntary nerves were pinch at any given time. Problems ranged to not only pain but the actions of my heart, bowels etc etc.

They ended up removing the front bone so there was more room for the cord and because this bone was gone the ended up bracing each joint hoping some bone grows back.

Except for a little motion loss It was like night and day.
