Paraphrase Jon Stewart -- The law should always consider one's popularity. What's happened to our country? It's like you can't even commit financial fraud anymore. Can't inflate property values to get a loan and deflate them for tax purposes. Really. Next you're going to go to jail instead of your accountant, your lawyer, your campaign manager and others around you.
