$UAMM UA Multimedia - Sharing some information to clarify what’s happening at UA Multimedia. Since establishing the symbol $UAMM in 2012, the company has been led by interim CEO Michael Lajtay of Jugular Inc. (a fitness drink company), with business and financial advisory from Advenpeak, LLC.

Over the last 10 years, $UAMM has struggled to find direction under Lajtay’s leadership, sampling industries from film production to cannabis to technology incubation and NFTs. This pattern is well-known for a certain type of CEO who is more interested in using securities to bail out misdirected operations than to grow a successful business, and in my opinion is to blame for the company’s reputation.

This reputation though belongs to Michael Lajtay, not UA Multimedia.

Over the last year, Advenpeak has been working very hard to establish a coherent identity and direction for the company. In May, Michael Lajtay stepped down and was replaced by Huan Nguyen, an experienced engineer and decorated US Navy rear admiral.

His career is beyond impressive.

US Navy

Nguyen was inspired to join the United States Navy after witnessing the sailors and Marines who cared for his family en route to the US in 1975. In 1993, he was commissioned through the Reserve Engineering Duty Officer program.

Since then, he has been assigned to United States Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Naval Sea Systems Command, United States Pacific Fleet, and the Office of Naval Research. At the United States Navy Memorial in Washington, D.C. on 10 October 2019, Nguyen became the first Vietnamese-American promoted to rear admiral. Upon his promotion, he was assigned to Naval Sea Systems Command at the Washington Navy Yard as Deputy Commander for Cyber Engineering.

Nguyen retired from the Navy on 7 October 2022, with a retirement ceremony held at the Washington Navy Yard. Among his awards and decorations are three Legion of Merits, a Bronze Star Medal, a Meritorious Service Medal, two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.

Civilian

In August 1994, Nguyen began working for General Motors (GM) where he managed the team that designed and integrated the powertrain control module for all of GM's platforms. In 2006, he became the senior vice president of Bank of America and established computer security standards and processes. After joining Exelis Inc. in 2009, Nguyen "managed a multi-million-dollar portfolio of independent research and development projects on ground electronic warfare countermeasures, counter-remote improvised explosive device systems and interference mitigation systems."

Where is UA Multimedia heading?

This is speculative as the company has been very careful lately in their communication, which is to be appreciated in a growth-oriented company. They are no longer trying to over-inflate their security by promising things they’re unable to accomplish.

What we know is that the first two steps in their growth plan have been to establish a partnership with Pascal Studio, a company developing software that automates financial and supply chain data using artificial intelligence, and appointing a new CEO with experience in technology leading thousands of people in multi-billion dollar organizations.

The scale to which the company is planning to grow is illustrated to me by this tweet, sharing that Pascal Studio CEO Minh Chau met with the India Ministry of Finance to promote trade between Vietnam and India.

What we’re looking at so far for UA Multimedia is international supply chain operations using artificial intelligence, and they are aggressively developing new partnerships under Huan Nguyen’s new leadership.

This is essentially a brand new company, and the growth prospect of what they’re developing is well beyond the security’s current market capital of just $1.3m (today). I’m seeing high potential for billions.

Good luck to everyone who sees all of this too and has taken a position.
