I remember getting my two jabs, my arms pounded for a few days, think they were about six weeks apart, but again it is just a wise thing to do when you get much older. I enjoy getting up each morning, knowing my day is still mine.
Some days when I have appointments scheduled, I have basically rushed to get someplace. Then when I get out in morning traffic, I remind myself how much I do not mine being involved with a busy schedule.
My old my old bosses never got a shingles shot, and I remember what he had to deal with on his sides and back. The pain of just looking at shingles, once again modern medicine, and almost all vaccinations are just fine for almost 95 % of the population.
Being responsible is just that taking care of yourself, learning from everything that mankind has done so well over the decades to alleviate some of the pain and discomfort of aging.
Just like our resident trolls on praising the alternative side of reality, and finding fault with anything President Biden does, or almost anything that is reasonable. Some troll stated trump gets under my skin, what is really his problem, is that President Biden does his job so well. NO late-night tweets of absurdity, like trump did. No disgust for regular Americans who work really hard each day at jobs many would not do. Most Americans just get up each day and work really hard at their chosen professions, and they do them not for political gain, they do them for a paycheck so they can support themselves and their families.
Republicans just never get that, remember this is still the southern republican party, which was still the old democratic part back before the civil rights act of 1964 was signed. Once again, the RED states still get tax dollar support from BLUE states. I doubt that will ever change.
