Well, we actually don't know yet whether there will be a merger with another company. That remains to be seen with the next PR.

Also, let's not forget the probability that the new business may encompass DeepPower, a geothermal drilling company owned by MacKay's long time business partner Andrew Van Noy. Coincidentally, launched in November the exact same time as the announcement MacKay bought SFLM. MacKay and Van Noy are both involved with Loyal Companies and GLID.
