I asked

when will FDIC close the receivership of WMB


and got in part

The FDIC has not yet announced a closing date for the receivership of WMB. The receivership was opened on March 8, 2023, and the FDIC typically takes several years to liquidate the assets of a failed bank and distribute the proceeds to creditors.



The other 'drafts' conflated SVB and WMB.

So I asked

when will FDIC close the receivership of washington mutual bank



And in three drafts was told it had been closed with dates of 2/28/2012 (first draft) and 3/8/2023 (2nd and 3rd draft)
