Yeah, well, that's another thing...so many people think they actually want us to be the "thought police"... until it comes to them. ha

That's precisely what Admin is NOT doing but some people find it hard to wrap their head around that. Admin cares not one iota what you think about companies/stocks, politics or other Users. I mean to reiterate - not in the slightest.

Our goal was civil discussion about stocks. For whatever reason a lot of people these days think that means discussing the person that has a different opinion than they do. I mean logically, philosophically and in reality that is not the basis of a sound argument. It just isn't.

But, hey, for whatever reason, that's apparently a tenet that a large amount of society has agreed on. Ok. We're trying to figure out how to roll with that mindset while keeping some amount of conversation about the company visible to Users who care about that. It's the old "signal vs. noise" that Dave I think coined years ago. The majority of society seems to favor "noise", bickering, attacking the messenger. Ok, we get that. We're trying to figure out a balance. Wish us luck. :)

Btw, this is me wrapping this up. I'm explaining why we believe that we do the opposite of being "thought police" even though that's lobbed us regularly.

I've heard all the counter arguments.. We'll have to agree to disagree for anyone who thinks I'm whacked. Please don't spend the entirety of your holiday weekend voicing your opinion on why this is right or wrong. It's certainly not how I want to spend mine. :)
