No one or side was happy with his very rehersed appearance.
He went to Harvard for his MBA. I didn't but I know no one ever won playing both sides.
He should have said, "we support LBGTQ folks but clearly this was a knucklehead decision on our part. Our customers are not interested in this stuff in their face and losing $20B of market cap puts a fine point on that. We get it."
If he can't say something like that, he should just stay in the C Suite because he is only continuing to piss off beer drinkers with evasive talk lacking honesty and conviction.
