Securing America's Clean Energy Future
The Second Lithium Energy Revolution is Now
Nevada Lithium Resources believes in the future of lithium. In the 90s, the world turned to clean energy lithium batteries. These batteries now consume over 70% of global lithium production. Electric vehicle (EV) sales are surging. EV batteries use even more lithium, so lithium demand is growing fast.
EV Automakers around the world are looking for secure, stable supplies of lithium for their batteries. Lithium sourced from the US, like the Bonnie Claire Project in Nevada, could be an ideal source for US EV makers such as Tesla, GM and Ford. Nevada Lithium Resources owns 50% of the Bonnie Claire Project.
Lithium is the Future
We’re actively engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of lithium resources to meet the new demand from the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) market.
Exceptional Team
We’ve assembled a team of proven business builders, resource finders and mining experts to rapidly develop our assets and maximize shareholder value. There is no substitute for the experience gained by evaluating and advancing projects and the ability to raise capital at critical times in the life of a company.
Governance & Sustainability
Exploration and Development is a long-term business. We build respectful relationships with the communities that host our operations. We are committed to the responsible management of resources such as land, air quality, water and biodiversity, and put the health and safety of our people first.
Bonnie Claire Project
“The US currently produces 2% of its required lithium. As the demand increases, a domestic source is required.”
– Powermag.com, Nov. 2020
"The project has the potential to be a major supplier of lithium products..."
– NI 43-101 PEA report, 2021
Nevada Lithium owns 50% of the Bonnie Claire Lithium Project, which has the potential to be one of the next generation of American lithium mines, and one of the first to produce from lithium-hosted sediments.
This domestic project in Nevada covers an area 1.25x the size of Manhattan Island. Bonnie Claire is an hour’s drive from Albemarle’s Silver Peak Lithium operations.
Bonnie Claire hosts significant lithium potential from lithium-bearing sediments and is one of the largest lithium deposits in North America. Further, large portions of the project remain to be explored, including lithium brine targets.
Bonnie Claire’s sediment-hosted mineralization is potentially a key advantage over other projects in Nevada. Unlike Bonnie Claire, much of the lithium in Nevada is hosted in clays, which may be more difficult and costly to process.
Our next phase of drilling at Bonnie Claire will be designed to further delineate and upgrade current inferred resources to the indicated category, while also further evaluating the Project’s potential economic viability.
Lithium Industry
Electric Vehicles (EV) are here. Generating Lithium for the batteries they use is one of the world’s youngest and most important industries. China currently dominates the marketplace. The rest of the world, including the USA, is now responding to secure its Lithium supplies.
The Bonnie Claire Project, located in Nevada, is well positioned to use any preferential treatment by the US Government. Importantly, Canadian companies, such as Nevada Lithium Resources, are the only non-US entities considered to be US domestic sources of Lithium.
