Considering we don't know what agreement was reached with the SEC for Sharp to withdraw the appeal, we can't say for certain what the motivation for the withdrawal was. But there is a possibility that if there was an agreement between the parties, GVSI and FINRA, to withdraw the appeal and make a new application to FINRA for name change and ticker symbol change. That is also a possibility. We simply don't know.

But, purely based on law, a withdrawn SEC appeal doesn't change the original decision of FINRA.
