Surely there are other sources other than faux spews reporting on desatan?
Interestingly, or not, ms start claims to be only a news aggregator and does not vet nor condone any contributor. So it seems that 'start' is heavily used by maga and conservative re-reporting on a higher usage percentage than dems or progressive.

The links always shows the window logo and one has no way of knowing what it's content is until clicking and going there.

This could be MS trying to be fair with data selling, or imo they do that so people click on links they would not have if it was in the main header and would know where they are going. Clicks make money even if you don't stay.
