gfp: I haven't started shorting the Nasdaq yet. I've only shorted the Dow so far. And very modestly so far. If the Dow stays weak tomorrow I may add some more DOG. But eventually I will move on to shorting the S&P, the Russell and eventually the Nasdaq. And I'm only talking about the "nimble" uncommitted portion of my portfolio. The 10% I play with. The other stuff is devoted to inflation hedging investments in resources and energy. And out property. I could lose the entire 10% and not feel too much real pain. I don't trade much at my core. Many of my natural resource ETF and stocks I've held for years. Waiting for the inevitable.
