Ahhhhhh, somebody lied or something, over a decade ago? Wow, I best rethink my position in VPLM!!

Well, you sort of rearranged my wording a bit.. I said that this whole 10 yr long (or so) infringement debacle (it surely has been a major debacle IMHO) was based upon and born of a big big lie told by vplm. You should realize that much of the history of vplm played out long before the courts were involved... At least they weren't involved in anything to do with infringement. In fact, much of the history was before vplm had any patents. And the never ending talk about how vplm created the patents in the 1st place, is a patent lie, pun intended. Vplm had zero to do with the creation of the core patent but peeps believe what they want to believe regardless of facts.

In any event, your study of court documents as you noted, would have absolutely not othing to do with the big lie that vplm perpetrated upon potential shareholders, buyers and shareholders at the time. It was a doosie. And it was the main and 1st reason I changed from a believer in vplm! and the up and coming voip industry) And it undoubtedly facilitated the amassing of many new shareholders and share purchases and belief and confidence in vplm. Nevertheless, a big lie! The biggest you could imagine... But the biggest thing that vplm has taught me is that once ppl latch onto a certain belief, and especially if they invest their often hard earned money in that belief, that they tend to guard and defend such belief and sentiments beyond that which I personally would deem reasonable, logical arguments. Goalposts are on wheels and ideas and conclusions get twisted into pretzels, to quote Ralph Kramden.
