Truism, this idea you have is a bit of a stretch. Not credible.

As usual of late. It is a joke to think the DoD needs pressure given the tone of their orders, and who knows what the AF is looking to do with SS. Being clueless on DoD/AF purposeful intent , it is hard to say. Pressure could be high enough, given that SS is needed and useful for all sorts of reasons.

The way they are spending money and the general tone of this letter, also says DoD/AF is a done deal....but hey, some people weren't sure if KBLB was all over the submission. Catch up day has arrived, and probably without learning how Kim operates. I am not speaking of your interpretation trainer.

Funding by the DoD is assured and they have already got Gen 3 successes in the lab. 2 reads that stick out in this letter.

Kim doesn't bring new things up until they are a done deal, even though he leaves room for it not happening. That is just his legal mind, and it comes off as a lack of confidence. KBLB is the AF's poster child in this endeavor.
