You are right. Despite my watering it down a bit with the phrase "to think about ...." versus 'should' or something more concrete, it is still trying to get involved in other people's decisions.

I should stick to only the facts, or share my decision to get out when we get a little pop. Making the suggestion that anyone else should even consider selling on a pop up was bad. Not any better than those who constantly post telling everyone to hold or buy.
