New Westminster is about 10 miles (17 km) from Vancouver. Much fewer know the former. Burnaby (N and S) is between. We lived in NB, about halfway between the two. The rink the New Westminster Royals played in late '40s-50's .. https://www.hockeydb.com/stte/new-westminster-royals-7076.html .. was small. Still is .. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen%27s_Park_Arena . The NW Royals first played in Denham Stadium in Vancouver .. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Westminster_Royals . Those were the days .. lol .. mostly lucky good memories.
