Like in Hockey as has been well described by Zor and Blackhawks, it's a very fast game and contact sport - lot going on; always testing limits fighting for those mm's of real estate..

[i gotcha is not offensive if on a point of fact or logic but is if the underlying topic or motivation is to insult the other and a desire to keep that aspect of a discussion going. It's almost like someone might have unconsciously absorbed humiliation practices from having had mainlined reality tv or video game.. ;]
