So….. VPLM winning every battle to claim the validity of their Intellectual Property was meaningless? Of all the hundreds of victories dealing with patent infringement litigation, why didn’t the defendant always buy out the plaintiff before going to trial? Maybe VPLM is holding a losing hand, but I have seen too many 800 lbs Gorillas go to trial and lose….. I believe the firm chosen by many of the defendants is much more revealing…. In my opinion ( not worth very much) anout of court settlement will occur. Nothing is being released by VPLM lately…. Good! Parties don’t make announcements ( NDA) while negotiating. The Texas defendants and the California defendants will settle at the same time ( look at who is representing them).
