That’s exactly right.

It just isn’t “deferred revenue” for RM…it is potential future revenue.

The word “deferred” seems to be what confuses people….which I get…it is future tense. But it actually isn’t about the future, it’s about how something is classified in the books now.

The other term for it is “unearned revenue”. Maybe that helps.
