12yearplan, The ideas are age-old, aren't they not. One could consider the path of an anarchist is easy when you have no better solutions which work better than the systems you make your living bitching about. Chomsky suggests Anarcho-syndicalism .. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarcho-syndicalism .. as the answer. The idea is not exactly new.

Hedges obviously has serious integrity problems, for one. For two, what are his solutions. What is his better system. These intellectuals say little if anything we don't say. As you have observed, they package it. What else.

Am thinking it seems easy for these anarchists to condemn the systems which have evolved to hold their positions of relative success in our world, while growing fairly wealthy living in them. Why aren't we all anarchists as those two. Would it be difficult to be an anarchist. Wouldn't seem that way to me.

What do Hedges and Chomsky and other anarchists really offer except words about our utopian dreams.

This post is off the top. Now, back to bed.

It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
