JPMC wrote all those assets down to below book value, so as not to pay anything for them...the FDIC let JPM sell the assets for fair value because the FDIC was not in the business to sell and dispose of assets, so they let JPM do it...so, JPM sold them off at firesafe prices, hence, WAMU got nothing for them... the only money WMI got was JPM paid 25 million for the stock of Visa... JPM got Great Western, Providian, Home Savings, and HS Amundsen savings and loan.....are you still expecting JPM are going to pay for Wamu's assets?...its been 14 years since the seizure and Receivership... whats the time frame that you expect payment...?
