This works better if you are dealing with a R-D split.
I'm guessing they both full on Dems.
So, now the question is; did you ever play bothsidesism with them?.
Now, .. let's say they are super radical and independant center (very) progressive isolated and with radical ideas.
I don't have to remind you none of this is important, lol..
Ok, so mom and dad need assigned folk for this exercise..
Doesn't matter whether mom or dad as long as they Dems, Repug, Radical or icvpiri
Don't need to use this example but for clarity just say
mom is B4
dad is 12yr
