Get regular folks together from Either side, they'd agree on just about everything ending corruption and politics as usual.....Take some steam out of the extremes too...
We can't just let 17% of either party setting the agendas,( or lack of ) and control the narrative....As you point out, thats how primaries work for now..........Then the leaders are be holding to them.....Mucks stuff up and has for far too long........People are looking for common sense, not extremes or politics.....
Only other way for now is declare as independent,,,,, parties understand that is what sways things and just continued dwindling party numbers should' get they're attention..........perhaps not....Back to those majority opinions that mean nothing to the parties...
Plenty of ways to advocate for a better future,,,,,,,,,,,Some need more attention than others these days...
And yes nafta set a new precedence and opened the flood gates,,,,,,,,,,,just a fact that no amount of talking points can change....Its the reason it was so controversial..
