conix, As i said many if not most, or all, mass shooting arise from personal anguish or grief, from personal hurt, even if only political. That's a research-based fact. The shooter was a former student. It was a Christian school. Many Christian schools have never been particularly empathetic toward emotions around the problems of gender identity. The shooter is a trans. She could very well have had a personal reason for her shooting arising from many Christians being anti-trans. And there is even a chance that her problem could have started as young as elementary school.

Possibly 15 years ago some children were suffering bullying in the playground. Possibly even her. It has nothing at all to do with the discussion, but no conix, you dipstick, i am neither trans nor cis. My pronoun is he. No i am not in daily contact with a trans person, though i have met a number and chatted with them. And i have read and posted much here on the subject. Again all personal stuff about me has zip to do with the conversation. And no, i didn't blame this shooting on anti-trans. I just put it out there as one possibility.
