Y'know, if there was a way to "naked short" a stock and escape all detection methods required by regulation, never make short interest, never have to borrow, never have it show as a FTD, never put the security on the threshold list, not sure why those shares allegedly created out of thin air would ever be covered. Heck, not sure why they'd piddle around on stock with PPS's of a few bucks, think I'd just synthesize up some shares of stocks trading for much higher so I wouldn't have to sell so many.
Of course, there isn't a way to do that, it's just a hoax used for pump and dumps.
