""A group of researchers" equals "scientists"? ROFLMAO There is another group of researchers that would disagree with this "finding". Unbelievable what the world has come to."
Nowhere in the article does it even suggest that a group of researchers equal scientists as your distorting misinformation implies. It says:
"The terms were identified as part of a EEB (Ecology and Evolutionary Biology) Language Project, founded by scientists in the US and Canada who believe some of the terminology used in scientific discussion isn't inclusive, and could even be harmful."
scientist researchers founded that organization. Either your comprehension is terrible, or you are a disingenuous, conniving bitch.
Then you say others would disagree with it. DUH, it says that in the article:
"Prof Frank Furedi, an emeritus professor of sociology at the University of Kent, told the outlet: “I think that when you characterise terms like male/female, mother/father as harmful you are abandoning science for ideological advocacy. P - “Regardless of intent, the project of re-engineering language will cause confusion to many and the last thing that scientists need is a lack of clarity about the meaning of the words they use.”"
And that group pf researcher scientists would have obviously been aware of the controversial nature of their suggestions. FCS, the article even gave you good context:
"Dr Danielle Ignace, a researcher the University of British Colombia said: “The EEB Language Project will be a living document, as particular words that are harmful and their alternatives can change over time."
A "living document" you twit. Unlike your bible, though some religious folk do try to interpret it in a little more up-to-date manner.
The article is balanced. Too bad you will never be. Seriously how thick-headed are you gonna get before you leave us. That said, you should have read my reply to B402 before you dove:
