I think it's more serious as we have been pumping prosphoras and nitrogen from fertilizer onto our farmlands and the runoff is going into our rivers and then into the oceans where it's funny any of these fish happen to be. In nature it happens naturally over time with plants being the primary way we get those chemicals broken down but because we have done it through fertilizers we are overwhelming the local ecology. It is probably getting through our groundwater as well that we drink. We have no idea how that might affect humans.
