I don’t mean to imply they need any legislation to kick off construction. I don’t see government funding required to kick off construction, but it will be a considerable boost if/when it happens.

My thoughts on additional legislation are that the domestic critical mineral industry will need government protection once established. China has spent a considerable amount to develop its near monopoly on critical minerals, and they see REE dominance as strategic to their control over world events. They most likely will not relinquish their position without challenges. Unfortunately, it will almost certainly require government protection to prevent another CCP decimation of the Rare Earth market. I can’t think of a more qualified group than NioCorp’s management team to help form the US protective legislation for the entire industry.

Their efforts to secure funding are obvious, but history tells me NioCorp’s team is almost certainly working hard to at protecting the operation once it’s up and running.
