Why isn't inequity on the list?...'Economy' sure is, and, its number #1...
According to your chart...... 65% of Democratic voters, and 99% of Republican voters, 79% of All registered voters,
Near 80% say it is the Top Issue and Very Important (Just use the Dem number and 65% isn't small and in line)
I think an argument could be made voters are making their voice known, in lieu of the word inequity not being used as a question, and,,,,, remember the fact many would say and argue, even here, that everything is just fine,,,,,
So why isn't inequity on the chart? as you ask, 'I' think it may just be,,,,,Why isn't it written as a question?..... That is part of the theme I spoke to originally......
........................... To end what was said, let it speak for itself, and it can be judged in its entirety.....

On the same topic....The older are mostly retired baby boomers,,,They had good careers, They worked hard, enjoying the past era of a social contract between the corps and their employees before it was slowly been eaten up......And even those that replace them are insulated from the other 60% of the population....
Be it our reps, the upper middle class, The retired baby boomers, the top 30 or 40% of our country or the media, there is a complete separation to everyone else....and its not that they are bad people, they aren't, they are good and honest people, just separated by our modern world...
So without any malice, they never really see what's just down the road,,,They don't see and feel the inequity that is and has been effecting the other 60% thats reaching crisis point,,,,,Its why inequity is never (or seldom) brought up....No one sees it, they don't experience it (although its climbing up the ladder from the bottom one step at a time).....Its not a problem
They live in nice neighborhoods, with stores and everything they need, its all good, and never have to leave their environment...More power to them
Politicians live in their own bubble, the media are all people who grew up in a bubble, our most influential don't see inequity, never have (aloof) Completely blind to it,,,,,,And it would be the number one talking point if they did and become a priority,,,,,,,now more than ever.....Instead they are dumbfounded and need other ways to explain the situation that faces us and hence have the wrong solutions to correct course,,,,,,To often just adding fuel.....
Can't fix a problem you don't know is there. Our separation creates a dangerous and divisive country.without even trying....Power to the elderly, they know the dangers we face and if they understood was out of control, they'd never stand for it, that's how good people are.......
