You're incorrect...In a September 18, 2022 interview Austin Fire Department Division Chief Thayer Smith said, according The Independent. “Teslas may take up to 30,000-40,000 gallons OF WATER, maybe even more, to extinguish the battery pack once it starts burning...."

In some instances a car fire might be triggered by a car battery, but once it starts burning THE REST OF THE VEHICLE serves as kindling and has to be addressed with water or foam or both...
