So quit playing the game, don't do what they do...



You seem to think that political parties are run by some board of directors that controls every move and position. Who are "they"? Each party is the sum of all of its constituents and moves with what their politicians perceive their constituents want. I've never agreed 100% with every action Democratic politicians have taken. But if I want someone who agrees with me 100% I would need a mirror. When I felt strong enough about the positions my party was taking I got involved and tried to change them. If you feel strongly about an issue, vote, get involved or run for office. Don't blame some non-existent "them".

But before you do that, figure out whether you believe in a government that tries to solve real problems and promotes equality and democracy or one that does as little as possible and promotes autocracy and authoritarianism. That will steer you to either the democrats of the republicans. Of course if you don't give a damn or are just too busy to be bothered to really look into things, you can always call yourself on independent and keep blaming "them" for all your troubles.
