The Dems more closely represent those who need the most help, which includes the middle and the working classes. And the Dem Senate represents a far larger population than does the GOP Senate.

Why would the Dems aspire to represent the hard core 30% of the population who are election denying and insurrection supporting Trumpers or the somewhat larger % of anti-choice wannabe theocrats?

The GOP is their home.
