I'm very "sure" that I have seen a Toshiba (AMD) book on a japanese
side. Could be, that these modells aren't available in other
regions - wouldn't be the first time.

Your not alone with this sentiment, but I see the notebook
arena the best and the easiest point for AMD to gain share.
I have nothing more to add at this point - we will have to
see.
