I did a ton of ocean swimming when we used to hang in Florida until I realized that I was basically shark food. I used to just float on my back in the saltwater and waves until the current drifted me off far enough to have to swim back to where I was, or beach and walk back.

Then I found out that was the stupidest thing I could do because I looked like prey when I was just floating there so I stopped doing that. LOL the lake had some big fish but nothing like a shark. Just some ankle biters.

Yeah, the pools are what they are, but definitely not the great wide open and full of chlorine.
