lol, glad things finally went your way. I have to use lotion too, especially this time of year because I have notoriously dry skin, especially on my arms and legs. The last couple years have gotten worse because I used to swim a lot and haven't had the chances like I used to.

I shed layers like a snake sheds its skin in the shower sometimes. My feet are the worst culprits but I don't care because nobody else is looking at them and I wear socks and boots 90% of the time anyway. I could probably scrape off ten years of dried epidermis on those puppies if I took the time to. I take care of my nails and that's about it. There's never been a problem with odor or fungus so why bother? They are a little flaky but they are always clean. I'm not going to be a runway model anytime soon and vanity was never in the cards for me anyway.

The only reason I use the lotion is because sometimes I get lucky enough to make a naked appearance with the women in my life and I don't want to put them off with a cloud of flaky dandruff, plus I need an excuse to get them to rub some on my dry itchy back for me. I always return the favor in kind, so it's a win win.
