A 211 is never filed by the company/firm/issuer…nor has it ever been.

They are submitted by a broker dealer. And the change to 15c2-11 now allows an IDQS to also submit them as well.

Understanding how 211’s actually work could be helpful when attempting to label facts as “semantic hairs” when discussing 211’s. Lol.
