I still fill in as a sub and teach a couple lock courses on a night or two here and there when my brothers and sisters are down. I haven't taken early retirement yet and keep up on my dues so every once in awhile I get a call. I'm nationally certified in just about everything possible right along with my brothers and sisters. I have certifications that I've never needed to use like scaffold building and flooring courses but all that stuff is good to know anyway

I apologize for bringing up old shit that should have been swept under the rug with that clown but he got me to the cliff edge again. Don't be upset that he called me a fraud because I don't care. Traveling the country and other places in the world, I've heard that nonsense many times over.

The funny part is that years back he was bitching and moaning about being a carpenter and getting screwed by the right to work laws and I told him about the union and how well I did. How we all earn equal pay and get good insurance and a pension. Then in the same breath he told me I wasn't a real carpenter, just a lazy ass union guy.

What's it going to be?

Don't tell him that in the last few years we've gone on to picket residential job sites and are forcing these non union abusers to fold and pay their people what they are worth. Oh, and its all wood construction too. Fucking crybaby idiot. It's not my fault he lives in West Virginia and wouldn't know a liberal/progressive friend if they came up and bit him in the ass. That's a lie.
