Meet Georgie – a trailblazing 21-year-old actress, activist, and Order of Australia medal holder.
You might recognise her as Mackenzie Hargreaves from Neighbours, where she fought for the role and became the first trans actor in a trans role on the show.
That’s not the only barrier she’s broken – at 10-years-old, Georgie was the youngest person to receive hormone blockers in Australia, which eventually inspired a change in the law. Now, she’s one of the most visible transgender people in Australia.
