Medtronic plucked the needed technology for a few million. They only took the parts they needed to integrate into the same surgeon console being used for Hugo. Then they tied up Titan with language in contract saying the same key technologies could not be licensed, only sold as a whole system. As I’ve stated, why would another company who has a completed multi port robot want to pay a higher premium for Enos and have to use a completely separate surgeon console and software interface. That means the surgeons at the same institution would have to learn to separate robot technologies from the same company. It also means added inventory in the disposable side for the hospital.

This is a fire sale at best which Vance is known for… Just look at his history with Hansen and the lawsuits that followed after the sale of the company for pennies.

It amazes me that people keep dreaming that there is a rabbit to pull out of a hat with this company. The rabbit in the hat is dead.
