I have been working with Michael Bird (MD agricultural operations) and Himalayan Hemp in India on the hemp project in India for the past 2 months.
Still not final, but below is the plan for the next 2 years. It is a trial run on 10,000 acres. If succesful (after a year), there is nothing stopping us from targeting up to a million acres. And for that we are dependent on Himalayan Hemp and their connections with farmers in Uttarakhand, the province in India, where we will be growing the hemp.
We are making very good progress. Mike is starting to order the seeds which have to be evaluated and approved for import in India. And Mike/Laxmi are starting on the contract with Himalayan Hemp so they can move forward quickly.
We will be growing hemp for seeds (food) primarily. But we will also be processing the fiber and Pure CBD full spectrum extract.
We will also be looking at hemp in Guyana on 10,000 hectares and in the US if feasible.
