The Majors have stated that they will finance deep water projects and so launching a drilling campaign, like Shell will be doing with Graff, and Total with Venus among others might just be to the companies benefit as they hit solid oil bearing prospects and that seems to be the case . Look at Exxon in Guyana with their multibillion bbl. campaign on the Stabroek Block ,they will be there for the next decade and counting.
