are they rewriting --- (not sure I agree they have such power)
or
are they suggesting alternative English to get at intent ? which I understand
still baffled by SCOTUS action on VRA where Congress renewed it and said x states still need oversight (whatever the legal language) and court said - in English - YOU DID not do your homework these x states are cool these days so FU ---- there is no congressional - federal oversight on their rules and such for ...---------------- how that is not WRITING LAW I have no idea - yet done by a conservative court . That said to me --- they can bend anything they want
