restripe, Ok. Good. That's a fact. Not good for border authorities, but it is a fact you could start with if you wanted to get out of your partisan sand box. Do you have the guts or the interest in trying? It takes a bit of work, but we're here to help. You have your fact: 1000 refugees at the border. Another fact is you've had a southern border situation for decades. Up and down in intensity, still it's another fact. Remember that one. For decades. Ok, next fact is you don't have so many at the northern border. Why? Must have something to do with living conditions in Canada relative to those in Central America, Haiti and other places, eh. Now you have a few more facts. You must be getting the idea, eh.

"I just seen on TV 1000 deep line trying to cross the border"

Ok! Since you are now into the wonderful new world of gathering facts we have more here for you:

‘Sharp rise’ in Nicaraguans fleeing to Costa Rica, strains asylum system

"The Rise of Ortega-ismo"
A Trump wish list. [Here, add to that all Republicans working to thwart
a relatively fair and just democratic electoral system in the U.S.A.]

[...]To pave the way for his re-election, authorities arbitrarily arrested and prosecuted government critics and political opponents, including presidential candidates, journalists, lawyers, and leaders of community, business, and student groups.

Fact: More evidence that most if not all eventually getting to the US border are legitimate asylum seekers. One reply to that one:

Donald Trump’s Central America strategy is both cruel and incompetent

[...]The Trump administration’s attitude to Central America means that thousands of people are set to lose their TPS status. Most recently, the Department of Homeland Security decided to remove Hondurans from the TPS scheme .. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/04/us/honduras-temporary-protected-status.html , meaning 86,000 Honduran nationals currently living in the US will no longer be eligible to work there. El Salvador .. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2018/04/intipuca-town-relies-remittances-braces-tps-180415081217131.html .. was also removed from the programme in February, meaning 200,000 Salvadorans are expected to leave the US by September 2019.
P - Honduras and El Salvador are among the most violent countries in the world, and their inadequate public infrastructures and faltering economies are ill-equipped to cope with hundreds of thousands of returnees. To make matters worse, 17-18% of each country’s GDP is made up of remittances .. http://www.pewhispanic.org/2017/12/07/rise-in-u-s-immigrants-from-el-salvador-guatemala-and-honduras-outpaces-growth-from-elsewhere/ .. from people working in the US. Rescinding those people’s TPS eligibility won’t help tackle the region’s instability and grinding poverty, and it certainly won’t deter Central Americans from attempting the journey north.

Fact; Trump's attack on TPS status of thousands in USA increased the push factors driving refugees to US southern border. One of the replies to that one

Fact-checking claim about Trump administration changes to the immigration system
[...]Experts said it’s important to take a step back and note the underlying factors that push people out of their countries and why the U.S. — regardless of who’s president — has trouble handling their arrival.
[...]Separately, Trump also weakened another venue for legal migration — the U.S. refugee program. People apply for refugee admission from outside the U.S. (in their home countries or in refugee camps elsewhere). Before leaving office, President Barack Obama said the U.S. should let in as many as 110,000 refugees in fiscal year 2017. When Trump took over, he said that was too much and capped it at 50,000. Trump continued to lower the caps every year he was in office. Biden has pledged to significantly raise the admissions cap.

Fact: Trump's cutting the immigration caps contributes to the lines at your southern border.

Mexico: Asylum Seekers Face Abuses at Southern Border

Those who cross Mexico’s southern border fleeing violence and persecution struggle to obtain protection, face serious abuses and delays, and are often forced to wait for months in inhumane conditions near Mexico’s southern border while struggling to find work or housing.

No Trump, No Maduro, No War: Socialists Should Take a Stand on Venezuela
"Trump Versus the Socialist Menace

Fact: Conservatives dishonestly create and exploit lies about socialism in the USA.

Good luck in your move forward to consider more facts when forming your opinions.
