I don't see it...
The top of the line AMD TL-60 (2.0Ghz dual core) has about the same performance as the bottom of the line core 2 duo 5500 (1.66Ghz dual core). Do you see AMD introducing some new faster dual core notebook CPU's? Intel will do the santa rosa refresh, which I see as no big deal... and I suspect you agree. The surprising news is the new Intel dual core Pentium 2060 mystery CPU. It is in MANY new notebooks at my local computer shop, and Intel has not yet announced it, or associated specifications. It looks to be a big player in the low cost notebook market.
