Actually my experience is the new shares start trading but the old shares are stuck till your broker changes them over...and some brokers....oh my it was 2-3 days of people screaming "unfair" trading if we all can't trade. Etrade is pretty good about getting on with it but some of the others took time...and why...well, it's hard to click all those buttons to convert it. LOL. I slept through the craziness this morning or I would have been a buyer. Long ago..I was trying to look last night JPHC/PAIV/PAVC OMG what a fun one. I made a bunch but left 4x's that on the table. The brokers...accidentally posted the new shares to the accounts without the restricted symbol and people were just placing a trial order and discovering that they went through to see shares that they dam sure knew were not unrestricted. Now the catch was the transfer agent had not let loose any shares so the brokers just credited the accounts with basic non existent shares and when folks sold them they tried to say they were short selling...till they found out they didn't have shares to put in their accounts. 2005 or so. It was as crazy as it sounds. I bought 1 million at .0002. I took home $86k and left 400k on the table cause there was a stupid Man hurrying me to get to the ball park for an Astros game against his team in Wriggley Field. Most expensive game ever for me. LOL This could get very interesting. I bought a few just a few minutes ago...rounding out my shares. My Etrade website account shows the correct number of shares but the price is still at $8.25 so it's looking nice right now...5 minutes from now it will be fixed. Could they have covered 100 million shorts this morning?
