Buggi--
I agree with your belief that ASP is not tied to price cuts, but are tied to product mix. That said, Intel is supposed to be introducing the Pentium 2xxx series that brings dual core down to the $74 price point. I don't see much ASP relief for AMD, even with a MUCH richer mix to dual core. I do see an increase in silicon area required to meet that ASP, which will result in significant pressure on profits/ increasing losses.
