It looks like cost of paxlovid is 430 dollars so not that much lower than the price in the US. So they must be selling into the private pay market right now. Still a huge market - e.g. GSK is selling shingrix at around the same price as the US into the private market and says the addressable market is around 100M (i.e. 100M people over 50 can afford the vaccine).
